Fellowship Program

The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program includes training that is based at Lansing’s two premier care hospitals and maintains strong ties to Michigan State University. In conjunction with sponsorship from McLaren Greater Lansing and E.W. Sparrow, the program is designed for the fellows to develop clinical, laboratory, and procedural skills in the diagnosis and treatment of disturbances in the digestive system such as the study of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreatic disorders. In depth rotations in Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Motility are required rotations during the three years of fellowship. These rotations are done at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit MI, the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI, and at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
