Ahmad

Iftiker Ahmad, MD- Dr. Ahmad obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  He continued on to complete his Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He returned to Wayne State University where he completed his Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1987.

ButlerPaul Butler, MD- Dr. Butler graduated with his medical degree from Ohio State University-Cum Laude, as well as completing his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology.  Dr. Butler is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1985.

PlaehnScott Plaehn, DO- Dr. Plaehn is a medical graduate from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois.  He performed his Internship and Residency at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan an affiliate of Michigan State University.  He then went on to Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan where he completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology.  Dr. Plaehn is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1996.

RoseRobert Rose, DO, FACOI- Dr. Rose obtained his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri.  His Internship, Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology were performed at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Dr. Rose was a Clinical Instructor at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and is an Associate Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine with Michigan State University. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1988.

RossAlbert Ross, MD- Dr. Ross received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated with honors.  His Internship and Residency were performed at the University of Chicago Hospital and his Fellowship was completed at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Dr. Ross has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1995.

WallingJohn Walling, Jr., DO- Dr. Walling received his medical degree from the University of Health Science in Kansas City, Missouri.  He completed his Internship at Mt. Clemens General Hospital.  His Residency training and Fellowship in Gastroenterology were done at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Dr. Walling is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has been practicing in the Lansing area since 1992.

Weatherhead

William Weatherhead, DO, FACOI- Dr. Weatherhead obtained his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.  His Internship and Residency were completed at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  His Fellowship in Gastroenterology was performed at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Dr. Weatherhead is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He has been in practice in the Lansing area since 1987.

Wiedemer

David Wiedemer, MD- Dr. Wiedemer is a medical graduate for Ohio State University.  He completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.  Dr. Wiedemer has been a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Medicine.  He has been involved in various research projects related to Gastroenterology.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Dr. Wiedemer has been in practice in the Lansing area since 1978.

Yusuf

Siaka Yusuf, MD- Dr. Yusuf is originally from Nigeria where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He then came to the United States to do his Internship and Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Yusuf then went on to New York to complete his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at State University of New York. He was a Medical Officer at Mutare General Hospital in Zimbabwe as well as an Assistant Clinical Instructor in New York. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined MGI in December of 2000.

Oliveri

Lisa Oliveri-LePain, DO-Dr. Oliveri-LePain did her under graduate studies at the University of Illinois and Wayne State University.  She obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University.  She went on to do her Internship and Residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital.  Her Fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Michigan.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She joined MGI in September 2002.
